Hi MaryAnn, Thanks for doing this, but I think that when you send out an invite, it would be easier to reply directly to it rather then having to go to the wkha website and clicking on the blog and comments. I go through my e-mails and then forget to go do the rest to respond to yours. I also was under the impression that if I signed up for the blog, it would come to my e-mail if something new was posted, but that didn't happen when you cancelled the ladies night for instance. Do I always have to check the wkha website to read any new blogs? Just trying to clarify, thanks. As for ladies night, I am away the 11th, so the 18th would work better for me.Denise Parkanyi
Either May 11 or May 18 works for me for Ladies Night. Also, I could probably find a few things to put out for a yard sale, but don't choose a date around me; if I can do the chosen date, I will. Sue Ivovich
Please feel free to respond directly to emails. I would love to use the blog and feel that it might create friendly banter between neighbors. In addition, since it's subscription driven we're not always sending a bunch of emails to people who don't want them. If you sign up for the blog you'll receive a subscription confirmation email which contains a link to confirm your subscription. Then you'll receive an email whenever there is a new post/communique.
The website and blog are two different things. The website is static and doesn't change much. The blog is a place to chat. My hope was that the blog would strengthen the association get people talking and encourage more interaction, exchange of ideas, talents, etc...in the community.
Anyway, I'll still be checking the email so feel free to respond to things via email!
